I ran my truck on a mustang dyno today. The owner of the dyno didn't know much about using it(new at it). Are there numbers right? What do you think?

Peak HP 299. 9

Peak Torque 1022. 5

These runs were in direct drive. OD give the below numbers

Peak HP 341

Peak Torque 775. 6

I also ran 1/4 mile on the dyno. 13. 43 sec @96. 88

Truck 1993 Chevy K3500

Engine 1997 P-pump(215) Fully rebuilt with 370 pistons & balanced

10 plate(ground to 100) full forward

3K GSK

370 injectors

Piers cam

H2B2 Turbo 4" exhaust

Head studs & O ring block

Trans NV5600

South Bend clutch Con OFE

Well, not ever having dynoed, but knowing the engine. What gearing do you have in your rear end. I think your setup should put you in with more horsepower and a little more torque. but i don't know 100% :p

no that is a little too much spread and the torque should not go down in OD. I think you should be well over those HP ratings also.

mustang dynos always have real low hp #'s and real high tq #'s. if your trying to impress someone with #'s get on a dyno jet

I ran my truck today on a Mustang dyno. The guys running it seemed very knowledgeable and even made sure to divert the exhaust outside so to try and keep the intake air quality/temp consistent for the different runs. Although there exhaust pipe did pop off my tail pipe once and I flooded the room with black smoke. The next set of runs yielded lower numbers. So maybe the air quality does affect the results. I didn't think about running a ¼ mile. I'll have to try that next time. I didn't know they had a boost port you can connect your truck to so to get boost reading on the printout until after I was done. I will use that option also next time.

Average results were: 355 hp & 771 ft-lb torque (1:1)

I would have thought the torque would have been higher. I stood with them while they plugged in the truck data (weight, wind resistance factor, displacement, etc) and all looked correct. I gained 19 hp with the meth over the previous run without the meth. The attached results sheet was without meth. I have a question for the dynoholics :D out there, Do the hp & torque curves look good/correct?
