Hey guys,

I just got back from the DFW dyno day and I thought I would share my numbers. My top number for the day was 284. 7HP and 678 ft lbs. I guess I am happy with the numbers, but I was hoping that I would be closer to Nascar Marks numbers.

Oh well, atleast I know where I am now and I can finish the rest of the mods on this pump.

I think 330+HP is very possible with this pump... . I know mine still has more left.

Pretty impressive numbers Cody!Oo. Oo.

How much smoke you putting out just driving around town? Mine puts out more than I like and my numbers are WAY less than yours:(

Way to go Cody!!!!!! Great numbers. I had to leave early and missed your run. I believe you have some left to get past that magic 3. 0. 0. Good luck.

P. S. Fill me in on the thing about the cop :D :D

We saw one when we were leaving about 2:30... ...

Shrimpy, the cop said people were complaining about all the trucks parking on the road..... yea right... . more like all the black marks, you missed the later numbers. Me 387/832, Deezul 1(John) 406/900 and Merrick with that crazy ass 456 number from no were.

Stan,

My truck smokes pretty good, but it's hard for me to tell you how much. After I bumped my timing, I lost some smoke, but I still have enough to black out a car behind me. :D

Shrimpy,

I think the cop yesterday was just being an a$$hole. He saw all those diesels having a good time and was trying make things difficult.

I know Deezul1 took a video of my dyno run and if anyone is interested, I will try to have it posted.

Hey Cody!

Long time no see... what have you done to make those numbers? You have beat my 99 with the PowerEdge that dynoed 282 hp before I sold it. I was perfectly happy with it... been looking for a 12V second gen but maybe I should be looking for a first gen instead :D

Hey 243,

Yeah, I havent seen you in a good while. How's life been treating you since you have been ramless? I have done the usual to get those numbers..... injectors, exhaust housing, and "tweaks". If you decide to get a 1st gen, we'll get it running good!

Cody~

I've have a decent ride, a Wagoneer 4x4 with a big V8. It's a cool classic but I would rather be driving my Ram every day and the Wag only when I wanted to.

What mods and corresponding hp would you recommend for a First Gen for long life and reliability? Understandably, like every other Cummins, you can push the edge. The PowerEdge on level 3 was fine on my 24V, the clutch could handle it and I don't think it effected the pump at all.

Which turbo housing, injectors ect?
