DYNO RESULTS

I installed the power edge ez box a couple days ago. Initially I wasnt blown away this was all in town driving , I did feel it took less pedal to go a given speed.
Today I got to play on the way to get my dyno test, ie merging on the freeway is now a whole lot more fun 25 lbs boost really fast. The mods presently are K&N filter , 275 RVs and 4" exhaust. I use a computech digital EGT to moniter the gasses with that said here are the numbers:
EZ unplugged : 227 hp and 456 ft/lbs
EZ edge : 280 hp and 612 ft/lbs
52 rear wheel hp and 156 ft/lbs with this little plug in module, I was impressed and the egt never went over 1050 F with 1000 F being the average.
A couple things I found intresting, I increased boost to 30lbs by blocking the wastegate, made a run and lost 5 HP. I guess there just wasnt enough fuel to burn at that level.
The other was were the module made max torque 612 ft/lbs @ 2000 rpm. The HP at this rpm was 233 but that maxed at 2700 rpm with 280. Also cool down to 300F egt after each run took only about two minutes.
The only thing I didnt try was to dyno with the jumper in the other two positions. Overall im pleased with this product,and the customer service.

Thanks for the numbers. I have been wondering
what the HP/TQ was with the Edge. I have one
installed on my '01 ETC/5spd but have yet to
dyno mine.

Do you have any other goodies on your truck that weren't mentioned? I am wondering because those are some BIG numbers! Does the EZ have a boost module in it? That is the level I am looking to get to and the "magic recipe" would be nice. Rough math in my head puts you at somewhere around 330/730 at the flywheel.

No other goodies, thats it. Its a very nice combination, though id like 300 HP at the wheels (maybe im too greedy)
Id advise the 275 injector, though I didnt hsve acess to a dyno at the time I put them in, at the dragstrip they gave me a solid 5 mph in the 1/4 ml.
Another nice thing about this combo is theres practically no smoke.

Forgot to answer the other question, the EZ does have a built in module.
Its a great little box!
