Here's a recap of some GLTDR members dyno runs yesterday! LOTS of power running around in the GLTDR! First up was Terry Tucker who put 334 hp and 869 ft/lbs to the ground with 275 RV injectors, a powermax2. I didn't get a picture of his truck on the dyno but here's his dyno sheet: http://gltdr.org/scheidpics/terrysdyno.jpg

I was up next and put 313/763 to the ground with 275 RV injectors, and an original powermax. My truck hit 1300 degrees pre-turbo during the run. Here's my dyno sheet: http://gltdr.org/scheidpics/stevesdyno.jpg

Eric Pitts (thepittses) was up next and he put 247/657 to the ground with DDI's, a boost elbow, and map sensor fooler. His truck hit 950 degrees pre-turbo, which we are all afraid might be not right, he's looking into it. Here's his dyno sheet: http://gltdr.org/scheidpics/ericsdyno.jpg

Carl put his on last and ran a 353/974 with a hot PE #3, and DD I's through an auto. Here's that dyno sheet: http://gltdr.org/scheidpics/carlsdyno1.jpg

Then he put a VA box on it as well and ran a 384/1036. One of the Scheid guys was watching under the hood and said his exhaust manifold was white hot and he could see the valves THROUGH the manifold!! He saw 950 degrees post-turbo and Piers said he thought that was around 1500 given his boost! Here's that dyno sheet: http://www.gltdr.org/scheidpics/carlsdyno2.jpg

So Carl's the power king of the GLTDR for now, he also had the highest hp of the Dodges there but lost out on the torque by about 50 ft/lbs. What a weekend!

Those are all rear wheel #'s. I don't know how much drivetrain loss there would be. I was amazed at the torque number too. One thing I was thinking was maybe it's because he's got an automatic the torque converter is adding to the torque numbers? I don't know squat about autos - I've only owned one in my lifetime. For you auto experts does that make sense?

-Steve

Holy Smoke! 4 digit torque #'s Most gas guzzling speed freaks would be very happy with crank shaft dyno #'s like these, much less real wheel #'s #ad

Maybe we should post a couple of links over on the Super doody and Dura crap web sites to rattle their cages a little #ad

There was also a Superduty there that dyno'd at 388 hp/1080 ft/lbs of torque!! That's a screamin PSD. The catch is he supposedly spent $30,000 on building up the engine alone!!

<font color=blue>Heres some of the results, unfortunatly Carl's truck isn't on here as these pictures are not mine. The Ford that spent $30,000 is the very last truck in the bottom picture.

Notice John Porterfield (John_P) in there at 381hp/1069ft-lbs!! Way to go John, nice meeting you. And of course congragulations to all of the GLTDR fellas on your numbers and hospitatilty.

It was definatly a fun rally, next time I want to put my truck on the dyno and watch the numbers climb... ... . I'm gunnin for ya Carl (wwcd2) #ad
Although when Tom (Briar Hopper) gets a clutch I think It'll be close between me and him? And I truely wonder what Eric McBride's (Stack'd-N-Jack'd) would do..... Soooo many nice trucks... . so little time #ad

KatDiesel and TDR Members at Scheid
Rally:

I just got home from vacation and
immediately got on this computer
TDR Web Page to see what was going
on. KatDiesel, thank you for posting
those pictures of the dyno results
from the Scheid Rally! It was really
great to have met you and all the
GLTDR members. Tom, congratulations
on winning the "Show and Shine" with
your new black 2000 4X4 dually.

I really had a great time there!
As you said in your post, the
Power Stroke Diesel did beat my
truck in horespower but not in
torque. I really thought Carl
was going to beat EVERYBODY
(including me) after he put that
second P. E. box on his truck but
I guess I lucked out this time!!

I want to sincerely thank Dan
Scheid, John Pezan(J. P), John
Wood, Kent, Lloyd and Larry
for all the work they did on
my truck the day prior to the
rally. The modifications made
to the P7100 pump, along with
the installation of the 370
Diamond B injectors REALLY
made this truck fly!

I also want to thank the
entire Scheid Diesel staff
for putting on an EXCELLENT
rally in Terre Haute!

Finally, I want to thank
Piers Harry from BD for
putting up the nice BD
jacket as a prize for
high torque. Piers, if
you read this it was
great to have finally
met you!! I appreciate
all the guidance you
and Joe Donnelly gave
me on the 370 Diamond B
injectors. It was a wise
choice for my truck and
I appreciate all the
research you two put into
them!!!

I am definitely gonna have
to change my signature now!
