Official POST DYNO DAZE! May 15th

Muncie, Muncie, Muncie...

There has been a serious misunderstanding of our pricing structure for Dyno Testing and Tuning so I would like to clear it up for all.

3 runs with wide band O2 print outs and graphs showing RPM HP TQ A/F Air Temp, MPH, Time and STP Correction factor etc. 75. 00 1/2 hour limit this does not include any tuning other than real simple 2 minute changes.

If you don't have an O2 bung we can supply it weld one in and supply a plug for 35. 00 this gives the best and most accurate A/F readings for now and future testing.

We can Data log many parameters almost unlimited, if you want to watch it we can.

We have 16 temp probes that can be used to measure and log any temp from -50 to 2500 degrees, i. e. EGT, Water, Oil, Trans, Rear axle, air inlet, Pre intercooler and Post intercooler, etc. etc.

8 pressure ports for things like engine oil pressure, boost pressure, pressure differential for checking intercooler efficiency i. e. pressure drop, trans line pressure, vacuum etc.

2 optical sensors for engine rpm driveshaft rpm to check for converter efficiency or clutch or trans slippage, tire slippage etc.

2 inductive rpm pickups.

2 wide band O2 sensors.

We also have a tail pipe O2 sensor for those who don't want an O2 bung in there pipe, but not as accurate and slower to respond than in the front pipe near the engine.

Dyno tuning is billed at 150. 00 per hour for the first 2 hours, a 3 hours session would be billed at 125. 00 an hour and a 4 hour or more session would be billed at 100. 00 per hour.

This includes me tuning your car for you or with you and explaining and what we are doing and showing all the results.

Print outs and graphs for all runs you want, we keep notes on every change on the dyno sheets.

Each additional sensor may require installation of threaded bungs and there will be separate charges for these sensors and installations

We currently have experience with;

Carburators dating back to the 50,s

Alcohol injection

Diesel injection both mechanical and electronic

Superchips modem dealer for chips and tuners

We are in the process of becoming a Supechips Custom Tuning Dealer.

We are also looking at Big Stuff stand alone.

We have 38,000 cfm pumping into the front of the dyno bay at 44 mph this simulates driving on the road and keeps cars/trucks cool while tuning.

And we have 15,000 cfm pumping through the dyno pit to keep the eddy current motors cool for extended pulls and tuning.

The Superflow SF 840 twin eddy current load dyno can match any power you can produce up to 1200 hp and 2000 lb. torque this means we can do all your part throttle tuning which makes a huge difference in driveability and throttle response as well as fuel mileage.

We can simulate the weight of your car truck whatever, even simulate pulling a hill with a trailer with a controlled acceleration test.

I think I built the best dyno facility I know how and I am constantly looking to improve it to better serve my customers.

Ohh Yeah we have a very large observation room with 4 big windows covered by lexan to protect everyone watching, all can see clearly without danger.

I will be adding a large monitor to the observation room for dyno days.

Thank you for reading, please send any questions to -- email address removed -- or call 203-753-7223.

Email is best I check it every morning.

Cool.

I might have to swing by and give that a whirl one day. .

Sounds top-notch, and the prices aren't too bad either.

Is there anyway to detect valve float?

That explains a lot. Sounds like a really nice facility...

I'll have to stop by sometime during lunchtime to discuss a session.
