Friday afternoon I spun the rollers at Shelley's Automotive in Spokane WA and came away with 270hp/500tq. This was with 1800 miles on the truck, 100% bone stock. Removed the airbox for unrestricted intake for the next run and only added 2. 3hp. This dyno is considered to be a bit on the 'generous' side by the NW BOMBers but I'm still happy with the numbers.

Mileage is improving noticeably. The last tank with a LOT of hotfooting it, cruising 75mph on the highway, 2 blasts to 105-mph, and about 1/3 running around town, netted 19mpg. :)

Vaughn,

Your truck is almost identical to one at the dealership I keep thinking I want to trade mine for. The color is addictive!:D

If you only gained 2. 5 hp with no filter at all, I guess that blows a hole in the theory that a K&N will add 25hp. Or that the stock airbox is robbing gobs of power.

Guess ya got a good one. Ive seen more or less a dozen dyno now, the highest was 250. 7 last weekend at BD and the lowest was low 230s, dont remember the exact number. Mine went 246. Im jealous now :)
