Dynomax exhaust

Summit racing has a Walker Dynomax system for 269. 00

It lists it a 4" from the cat/res back with a chrome rectangular tip.

It comes with an Ultraflow muffler which I know are very high quality. Anybody try one of these yet?

Haven't tried the res back system, but I am happy with the Dynomax muffler. I have the 3" in/out version of the muffler that comes with that kit. Nice sound, little quiter than a straight pipe and no drone.



If you go for system, spend a couple of extra bucks and get a 3" to 4" adapter and a res length of 4" aluminized pipe and get rid of the resonator.

I have the dynomax 4 " kit on my 98 3500, the hangers that come with it do not fit anything i could find. The muffler is first class and has a good sound, nice smooth flowing tailpipe but i didn't like the tip so i went with magnaflow 5" stainless tip. My EGT at the pac-brake is 375 at 60mph, with our 13000 5th wheel trl it has never been over 900 on any hill. My mileage went up 1 to 1 1/2 . I would do it again. Besides the 5 inch tip looks sooooooo good. Richard

Before you order it from Summit, ask them if the intermediate pipe is included. I ordered what they listed as a Dynomax cat-back exhaust for my beater Chevy S-10. What I got was a muffler and tailpipe. That's sound a little too cheap for a full 4" cat-back system. Buyer beware. -Glen

I have that system and love it. I lost my cat and put a 4" straight pipe in its place up to the first hanger bracket after the down pipe. . Rick

I have it-on my truck it fit pretty much like a glove. I also eliminated the resonator and went 4" back from the headpipe.
