At the end of June I, with my brother-inlaws help, installed a dynomax catback( or in my case resonator-back) system. The install was pretty straight forward untill I tried to put my spare back. The O/E muff had a DENT in it to clear a crossmember that the new larger muff didn't. Apparently one of the things changed for '01+ trucks was the frame right where the muffler goes and instead of moving anything to fit nicely DC used a hammer on the muff. Anyway Dynomax is sending me an Ultra Flow Welded muffler to try. Apparently their engineer tried a couple of mufflers and this is their answer. What do you think?
