2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission E-bay intercooler

Is there any reason not to buy a replacement intercooler off e-bay?I'm not looking to upgrade, only to replace my bent one. (deer got me). Randy. Oh, the dealer cost was 895. 00, at least that is what the insurance rep quoted.

as long as it doesn't leak and is cheap (with shipping). @ $900 I would take the cash and go aftermarket ,why not? running 100* cooler on top never hurts and the quicker cool downs save the turbo bearings.

Call Rip at Source Automotive---he sent me one up here to Canada for 750. 00US last year and no core charge either. Well built and dropped the EGT quite a bit. DW

I will probably just go with a factory unit off e-bay. I really don't have any egt problems with my set-up, and probably won't turn the truck up anymore as i am getting the bug for a dually:-laf:-lafThanks for the replys,Randy
