E-Brake/CA. trucks

I am ready to add a e-brake (BD) and i am not sure were i read

this but the article I read stated that trucks with CA emissions were not recomended to have a e-brake do to the EGR and other smog (bs). Iwas hoping that maybe somebody might have some info on this?

The EGR business is with the '96 thru '98 12 valve engines.

E-Brake works great in California for your truck as it does mine!
