E-brake light remains lit w/ brake released fully.

My park brake warning lamp remains lit after releasing the brake and even after disconnecting the switch. There is no other lamp lit. It will periodically go off, then after awhile it will come back on. The mechanical brake system is all new and functioning properly. Does this lamp communicate with any other component?

I would start by checking the drum adjustment. Then I would check the switch contacts.

My light stays on, but my abs and sonetines my seatbelt light stays on as well. I've replaced almost everything else, so I'm leaning towards the ecu itself.

My brake light stayed on once, it was the rotted trailer connector.
