E-BRAKE NOISE

[PAYCHECK]

i just installed a moper e-brake, there is a loud hissing noise now from the exaust. is this normal? dodge says this is normal bypass noise! any help?

I know a couple of people that have the E-Brake, and they both have the hissing noise.

I would have to say yeah that is normal. My pacbrake makes a small hissing sound too. But I figured that the butterfly was closing enough, limiting the amount of exhaust that comes out of the tailpipe... . so the hissing just seems to be the limited amount of exhaust that is making it's way through the pipe.

Yes it is normal, its just the air going through the hole in the butterfly.

Ditto on that. Mine makes the same hissing noise--let all the gasser at work think i have a exhaust leak. #ad

My cummins E brake does the same thing,I think its just a little exhaust slipping by,its normal
