Does anyone make this size in an all terrain tire? Will these work on a 04 dually with the 2" spacers and stock wheels ? Don't really want the BF Goodrich brand, hopefully i do have a choice.

Toyo makes a 285/70R17 Open Country A/T in load range E. RANKRAM has a set on his SRW. He swears they are load range E with a load rating over 3700 lbs marked right on the sidewall. The Toyo Website has them as a load rating of 2755 lbs with no mention of the load range. I'm not impressed with the accuracy of the tire websites I've been on.

Check this web-site out. www.tirerack.com they have alot on info on tires. coobie :)

Thanks everybody,I spoke with the tire rack and he said nothing in that size and rating. The Toyo's will probably be my choice if i can find them.

actually looking at the website I find this

LT265/75R16 123Q E/10 301110 7. 0-7. 5-8. 0 48. 7 15 31. 6 10. 5 14 3415 80

stating that the load range is E@3415lbs.

I have them on my truck and I do like them. the sidewalls do have some give, but overall a very good tire. the mileage so far has been great as well

Where did you get them?, every Toyo dealer I have called says they do not exist, that is the size and load range I want.

I ran a set of those in a load C when they first came out. Later Toyo upgraded the tire to a D, I personally saw a set of D's on a 1/2 ton in that size.

I have not seen an E though.

Its quiet, good wet, dry and snow traction and I got 32K on them but they probably would have gone to 37K miles.

I called Toyo direct out of curiosity and they confirmed a 285/70R17 load E 3750 lbs @ 80 psi. However they are on back order so count yourself lucky if you found a set and put your order in early if your going to need tires in the next few months.

Just got my Toyo's today!

RankRam-

Thanks for the advice on the Toyo's! Just got them put on this morning and I am liking them (especially on the alloy rims :D !). With my stock Michelins just letting out the clutch at idle with any moisture on the road = spin city. Now it is grip city! Here's some pics. Sorry that the tires are dirty; I can never keep anything clean around Elko.

Looks great Julius!!!! Oo.

The alloys and the larger Toyo's really changed the look of your rig.

One question though... ... ... ... . you sure those are E-rated tires? :-laf
