E-RATED 315 75r 16

I've been trying to find an E-rated 315 for my stock wheels.



All I've found so far is the Toyo M/T.



What else am I missing?

I think that is one of the only ones out there that will fit the stock wheels. I've been running them for about 5 months and love them.

I think if you look at the weight rating, that a D rated 315 75R16 will carry as much weight as a smaller E rated tire, with the larger size you may not need the E rating.

True, but there's more to it than load rating in pounds.



An E-rated tire is tougher, stronger, and much more resistant to Death Wobble.



The Toyo M/T is E-rated to over 3800lbs in the 315 size! The 285 size Toyo M55 is E-rated to over 3700 pounds.



That kind of margin of safety greatly enhances tire safety, stability, and durability.



If Kent Kroeker can run the whole Baja 1000 without a single flat, I think that says something not only for the Toyo M/Ts, but for having surplus load capacity.

If you've lived through Death Wobble on D rated tires and switched to E's, you'll know the difference is incredible. I can hit the same pothole that gave me DW EVERY TIME with the D's and now I hit it just for fun.

Parnelli Jones Dirt Grip tires are Load Range "E". Size 33. 0x12. 5x16. 0 would be the equivilant of a 305/75/16 tire. It would be slightly smaller than what your looking for. Dirt Grips are a nice tire. They wear well, not too noisy, smooth ride.

Parnelli Jones does make a 35. 0x12. 5x16. 0 size tire. This is the equivilant of a 315/75/16 tire.

Just currious for my next tire purchase, will 315's clear everythige without a lift, etc? I current have 295's, but was told at the tire dealer at 305's would be the largest I could run with any rubbing, etc.

Jamnram, I had to put a set of Skyjacker D25's on my '01 to get 315's on it without rubbing. They're not the only game in town though.
