Is anyone running these wheels on thier CTD?

If so, are they polished or chrome?

What size tires are wrapped around them?

I run on wheels that are similar to those you are looking at. Mine are the Eagle Alloys Series 1189 16x8. I got them for my 2wd truck at the beginning of 99 and switched them to my new 4wd truck a few months ago. With my 2wd I ran 265/75/16 Michelin E Range tires. Now the 4wd has 285/75/16 BFG/AT's on it. Discount tires gave me a nice credit on my stock tires and wheels with only 50 miles on them so the BFG's cost me only $150 out of my pocket. I haven't had problems with either tires on the Eagle's (knock on wood). They've held up fine on and off roads as well as towing heavy loads.

I have Eagle wheels, and if I did it over again, I would buy Alcoa.

Alcoa may not make the style you are looking for, however, they run absolutely true and are much stronger (forged) than Eagle.

Somebody had a post a while back and said Alcoa's could be bought for $110 ea. Try a search on Alcoa.

I'm running the #589 Eagles in 9. 75" x 16. 5". I like the style as they are simple but tough looking with the round holes. They do stick out a ways from the fenders though.

I think Weld and Colorado Customs make the best looking wheels by far. My new truck should have weld mountain crushers rapped in nitto tera grapplers size 315 if all goes as planned.

Thanks guys.

I had 1439s w/ BFG 255 MTs but went back to OEMs for a while. I am looking around at tire & wheels packages again.

If ony they came in 18"

I was interested in these when wheel shopping, but unfortuantely they didn't come in 18". I went with Weld Monsoons (nice used set found on TDR Classifieds for great price) I haven't gotten tires/mounted them yet, I've had the wheels 3+ months! Every time I'm ready to put 'em on I end up buying something else expensive! As soon as I quite buying BOMBs, snowmobiles and 100yr old pianos, I will shod them with 285/60/18 Toyo Wild Countrys.
