May I suggest another method to save money.

Sell all the gym equipment, reduce the menu, no outside visits either.

They are there to pay a debt to society. No early out, no credit for "good time". .

Thier own actions caused them to loose thier rights.

Sit and think about it.

I hope the wardens can't do an early out. I'd think only the judges can change a prison term.

i'm with ya on this one fox. . they are there for a reason, and need to do thier time according to thier crime. . in a way they live better then we do, they get free food, free room and board, thier laundry done, free excersice/gym use,free education--They are there to repay a debt not sponge off society#@$%!. . we need to go back to the day's of hanging's if found guilty:-laf. . the guy that live's next to me is a prision gaurd here in hagerstown md and was recently suspended due to as they put it excessive force. . what happened was the prisioner refused to come out of his cell and when they went in to get him he became combative so the gaurd's including my neighbor rearanged his way of thinking and he went to the warden crying he was attacked unfairly and was going to contact the media if something was'nt done. . nice huh????

They say they have rights.

What about the rights of the people they are committing the crime against?

Dont they have rights?

Most are minor offenses true, but the majority will at some point end up back behind bars because that the only life they know.



I know they say innocent till proven guilty.

I was selected for a jury once and when asked my opinion on a certain crime and punishment, I told them that if they were innocent, we wouldnt be sitting in the courtroom in the first place.

Got escourted back to the jury assembly area.

I firmly believe the Justice System is a Job Security Business, Catch and Release, Try and Try Again, Also this not taking in consideration former offenses, change of venue, and a host of other ploys to hoodwink the public, WE ARE NOT BEING PROTECTED BY THE SYSTEM, IT'S A FARCE. Years ago in the short skirt fashion people even women said that women were asking to be raped, a Sheriff giving a talk said, "If you believe that, on a Saturday afternoon in a shopping mall, people going to shop are inviting to be ROBBED as they are carrying money so it's their fault?" I believe in the Death Penalty for breaking and entering, stealing strong arm or otherwise, if it doesn't belong to you it just not yours. Criminal sexual misconduct and a host of other offenses where they get off with a caution. Prison does not rehabilitate, it's been proved since they were built, an easy life, guaranteed shelter, clothes, food you name it they have it, have you seen how some of the cells are fitted out? TV, sound systems, desks and a bunch of other 'not missing home at all'.
