I have a pretty good oil leak around the timing gear cover of my 97. I don't know how the KDP is doing but this leak isn't from it as its coming down the other side of the cover. Anyway, I'm planning on taking the cover off to fix the leak and I thought I'd tab the KDP while I was at it.

My question is this, what do I need to make sure I can get it all done at once? I need to do it and get it back together asap so no time spent running for parts or waiting on them.

Currently I'm gonna go and pick up the cover's gasket and the crank seal. Anything else I need?

Also I think my oil pan is leaking a little too. Any thoughts on getting that sealed up better? Will it be easier to do before, during, or after doing the cover? Right now i leave pretty good puddles. I would like to leave no puddles if possible.

thanks

Steve
