ECM Reflash information

How do you know what you current software version is and what is the new one available. What was the issue date of the latest version?

Had mine done yesterday, and I'm totally satisfied. Dont know which one they did,but they flashed ECM,and PCM.

Was told by the dealer this morning that a new update came out 2 days ago. Don't know if it was for the ECM or PCM. I am waiting for a new ECM now as mine won't respond to some of the commands from their scanner.

I had my pcm and ecm reflashed today. My torque convertor was not staying locked.
The sticker that tells what they did says

Reprogram PCM & ECM
Recall 799 & 8001 TSB 18-02-99 & 18-08-99

I hope they did the tsb 18-11-99 . They told me they were going to do that. I hope this
will help my transmission problem. I do notice already that it shifts different.

Had mine reflashed last thursday. Shift points slightly different - but I like it. Clutch lock-up working fine.
