Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) ECM - VP-44 Cost?

I may possibly have to replace either the ECM or VP-44 on my old 2001 . See "Truck Died" post. About what are they running?

12-1500 for the VP, and around 100-300 for a good "used" ECM. I got mine on ebay for 125, then had it "Catcherized" by Marco, had to keep the stock one for emissions testing. Redlinear in Arkansas usually has them on ebay, he dismantles wrecked Cummins trucks

Truck has c. e. l. and P1693 code, cant read anything with the scanner. We are going to replace the cam sensor this evening and see what happens.

No biggie, still waiting for the web site to be done, then I will advertise a little more. Right now I have my hands full with fire ring jobs... ... ... 3 in a row.
