Edge is excited to host the annual celebration of horsepower and offer another record setting payout for Weekend on the Edge, to be held September 20, 2014, in Ogden, UT. Last year's event featured the largest payout on record and the bar will be raised again in 2014. Edge will be awarding over $27,000 in cash to dyno and sled pull participants. Once again, the top 5 dyno contestants will all receive a cash payout and all sled pullers will be competing for the biggest purse of the year. Tickets will be on sale for Saturday night's pull at the Weber County Fairgrounds. Adults are $10, Children between the ages of 6-12 are $5 and those under the age of 6 are free! Saturday's Schedule - September 20, 2014:
Dyno Day & Open House Edge Products' HQ - 1080 South Depot Drive, Ogden, UT 84404: 8AM - 3PM
Edge will have (3) dynos up and running again this year. Trucks begin lining up early so make sure you're there to get your spot and show Edge what your truck can do. You'll have a chance to meet with some of Edge's sponsored drivers and take photos next to these world-class rigs. Tom Hansen, Weylin Richards, Ryan Thain, Edge's sponsored Baja chase trucks and others will be on site. Edge will have various apparel, including our new "Driven" hoodies and t-shirts on sale. Their dyno day is fun for the whole family and a great way to see old friends and meet new ones. Make sure you're there to watch some of the most impressive diesel trucks in the country strut their stuff on the dyno. Keep an eye out for their new Mossy Oak Evolution line available just in time for hunting season. Utah's rock station, KBER 101 will be on hand from 1 to 3 with a live remote before we kick off the pulls at Golden Spike Arena.
Edge Pulling Series Truck & Tractor Pull Season Finale Golden Spike Arena - 1000 North 1200 West, Ogden, UT 84404 4PM - 10PM
This year the seasonal finale for the Edge Pulling Series will be held at Golden Spike Arena, located inside the Weber County Fairgrounds. This tremendous venue is new this year for Edge and is sure to enhance the experience for both competitors and spectators. Pullers have been battling all year for their respective class championships. They'll have an opportunity to take home some hardware and a nice paycheck Saturday night. Edge will be contributing over $25,000 in cash to the purse payouts this year. Make sure you head over to Golden Spike after the dyno event and grab a good seat for the final points pull of the season.
Several of the great Edge Pulling sponsors will be in attendance with their displays. Make sure you pay them a visit and check out the great products they have to offer. At the end of the evening, their tradition will continue with King of the Diesels. They'll be taking the 1st & 2nd place finishers from the diesel classes and letting them make one final run for $1000! Winner takes all in this crowd favorite. You won't want to miss it.
