Yes this has been out awhile Gypsyman. It's a nice unit. It raises fuel pressure like most boxes, I don't know if it does timing or not though.

on that trucks tv show yesterday, they put one on a duramax engine. the display box is smaller than i thought [like 1/2 a cd case tall, almost a cd case wide & 5/8"-3/4" thick]

You are thinking of the EZ, this is a different thing.

You could buy the Attitude yes, but it does nothing by its self. It controls the Edge Juice that is not out for the Dodge yet, but soon.

This is the display only, it will not work without the Juice box which has not been released yet for the Cummins. Edge is still working out some of the details with the box and we hope to see the first units in a few weeks.

I was watching that "Trucks" episode too Nickleinonen and they specifically stated the "Juice was available for ferd, chubby and DODGE"! I suspect they were a little premature.

That is correct they are a little ahead of the curve, however we do expect to the see the first Edge Juice units later this month along with the Banks Six-Gun. It will be interesting to compare the two side by side when they get here.

Still waiting to hear from Edge about the new Juice for the 03-04 Cummins, but did hear from Banks this morning with the following numbers.

Six-Gun Part#62977

105 hp

258 lb-ft.

Speed Loader part# 62978 (used with Six-Gun)

126 hp

290 lb-ft.

Banks still has not given a release date, but we do expect them very soon now.

Those Banks numbers are pathetic!

Are they just racing to get the first timing/duration box out or what. I mean come on. They were able to get the following out of the Duracrap (taken directly from their web page at http://www.bankspower.com/System.cfm?appid=AC08&sysid=SC16).

Six-Gun

128 hp

345 lb-ft

Speed-Loader

155 hp

385 lb-ft

Do they expect me to believe the Cummins can only produce 75% of the torque that the Duracrap can deliver.

Shame on you Gale Banks.

I agree these may not be the biggest numbers that are going to be available from Edge etc. , but at least we finally got some from Banks. I think these are pretty good numbers provided they keep EGTs and other parameters under control while making the power and its too soon to tell about that until we have the Banks and other boxes like the Edge to compare.

SAFE POWER

banks markets on the premise of "safe power", meaning their pitch will play to customers "fear" of eating their transmission or clutch. it works.

i say, just keep upgradin' :D

mopar mudder: i knew all along you were an edge-hugger :D

Not so much as edge-hugger as anti-banks :D

Don't like the idea of paying for a name and mass advertising. I like the TST box also but their controler really looks "cheap" to me in a $40,000 truck.

I agree... the controller looks cheesy for what you are paying... . looks almost exactly like the Pittsburgh Power box that Diesel Injection Service of Pittsburgh sells for the class-8 trucks... .

"Trucks" did a segment on the adjustable Edge box on a d-max a little while ago. At the end of the 1/4 mile run on Level 5 (max power), EGT's were flirting with 1400.
