Wondering where most of you guys mount your attitude monitor, and how you routed the cable. I'm not real thrilled with it going through the door jam like they tell you.

Thanks

When I had my Juice/Attitude

I used the Edge A-Pillar mount. Fits over stock A-Pillar and works pretty well. I drilled a hole in the cover on the firewall used for manual clutch I think. Not used on auto just a cover. Easy to remove and drill a hole in for routing many things into the cab.

I sent mine through a little gromet in the firewall. Very simple. Then I mounted my attitude monitor just below the fuel gauge to the left of the steering column. Out of the way. Easy enough to see. Much cleaner look. Plus, you can run the cord behind the dash so you don't see it at all.

I can take pics if it doesn't make sense.

I bought an A-pillar mount with a single gauge pod from diesel manor when I had an '04. 5. It looked very nice and gave me a spot to put in a FP gauge as well. I ran the cable down below the dash through one of those rubber grommets through the firewall. It's plenty long enough to go most anyplace you want to take it.

I did the opposite of JVolpe. Mine has a stick so I used the hole and grommet for the auto linkage, it is just below where the clutch master cylinder is. So whether you have the stick or auto there is a grommet you can punch through. I have installed 2 this way with no problems and there is plenty of cable on the Attitude. I also use the A pillar mount.

I have seen that mount, is it still a half pillar so you can keep the grab handle? It is hard to tell from their picture and now that the rail pressure gauges are out I need a spot for one more gauge.

I just bought this pillar pod for my attitude and fuel rail pressure gauge.

I haven't received them yet so I don't know how it will look once installed but I think that it should be a pretty clean set up.
