Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) edge attitude monitor unreadable

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the edge attitude monitor screen print going so light that you can't read it if your display is set to 3 or 4 parameters. If set displaying only 2 parameters its fine. Its on a 1999 and just over year old. Just wondering before I call Edge because it drives me nuts only being able to display 2 parameters when I spent alot of money on it and it dont work right. Thanks for any input.

Call Edge, I have 4 showing and it is just fine.

Called edge and going to send it in, said the lcds in the screen are getting weak. Will be good timing going to get the hot unlock code too.

If you plan to add a Smarty, don't get the hot unlock, they don't get along!

Really, was thinking of getting a smarty, why don't they get along. It will be a while before I even can afford a smarty plus need other upgrades first. How much are smartys going for anyways. Thanks

I don't know the particulars, just what I have read, the smarty doesn't like the hot juice for some reason. Check with Bob Wagner on the price.
