Edge B/B Turbo

Saw a writeup in a magazine on a new ball bearing turbo from Edge Products specifically designed for 3gen. Anyone know how much & if they are worth it ?

The complete kit has a custom elbow for compressor discharge, boost pipe and hose going to the intercooler, gaskets, downpipe, clamps, everything you need. Call DD (800-628-8111) for their pricing, and understand that the full kit adds cost compared to someone selling just a turbo where you have to scrounge and fabricate the other stuff. In particular, a properly fitting elbow means cutting and TIG welding because the Cummins parts have the wrong angle for a 3rd gen. Once you have a 3" discharge from the elbow, you need a different boost hose and pipe because stock is 2. 75". The turbo has a 1-year warranty. I am very happy with mine, and feel it is a good choice. Not to say it is the only good turbo out there, I'm sure there are a number of others. I do know thee BB turbo is very durable and spools nicely, even with stock power.
