Hey guys, just bought my first dodge, 03' 4x4 quad shorty 305/555 6 spd 4. 10 I really like it so far and the stock torque is impressive commpared to my moded 350 RWHP 7. 3. Anyhow, is anyone running or know much about the EDGE BB turbo. im looking to do all the research i can before i spend the $$. Im looking to make about 475-500 at the wheels, but im willing to sacrifice topend HP for fast reponse (quik spool up) Just need input from a 1st hand experience. it looks like this turbo my be just big enough to keep EGT down while still spooling almost as fast as stock once its fueled. My general recipe is as follows let me know what you think, ive only been doin the 5. 9 thing for about a week.

thanks, Steve

Induction: homebuilt enclosed cold air donalson element with 4 or 5 inch piping to compressor, EDGE BB jammer turbo, ATS intake elbow.

Exaust: ATS 2 piece exaust manifold, 4 inch AEROTURBINE exuast

Programming: TS MP-8 stacked with TST with rail pressure

Fuel: Walboro lift pump kit, or home brew kit using aeromotive A1000 pump and return regulator and # 10 hardline

Southbend con OFE or con FE clutch

Welcome to the site!

Instead of the Edge turbo I would also say go with the II sps 62 or the HTT 62/12 or HTT 62/14.

You can't go wrong either way but the HTT turbo will save you some $$...

Welcome SDesmarais. If you are shooting for 475-500 the Jammer BB won't be big enough, and it's not wastegated. I think 400 or low 400s HP is the top end of that charger.

I would also agree with the others-- SPS 62 or a HTT. I havent heard much of any feedback on these forums about the Edge BB.

I had a Garrett GT 38 with a 1. 15 housing on my Powerstroke and it was a great turbo, but I maxed out at 471 hp :{

Tell us how your Workhorse is gonna get this guy the 475-500 hp he wants... . plus no need to fuss with gauges, warranty, etc.

The quick easy way to get what you want is with the Workhorse Module. Warranty friendly, easy to install, no egt problem, no gauges, no hassle. Check out thedieselchip.com and see for your self. I use it and have no problems, and save on fuel costs.

This sounds like an infomercial!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

If you want 475 to 500 HP just look at my Signature. With the SMARTY on 8 and TST 2/2 or 3/2 I'm sure I'm at least at 500HP... I should have got the Con FE! I run around with the SMARTY on 2 and the TST on 2/2. Soon I will have a TS MP8. That's one slick box :-laf
