Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge Comp and Check Engine Light

My comp came in today, and I went to install it. Following the directions, minus tapping the pump wire. Now when I turn the key to on, I get the check engine light, and the comp lights up with bars 3 and 5 only. I disconnected both batteries again and re-checked everything. Tried again and the same thing. Any ideas??

Nope. bars wont adjust at all, only bars 3 and 5 are lit and then all of a sudden it will light up all 5.

I got the box working now. I moved the ground to the negative terminal on one of the batteries, now I just gotta clear the check engine light.
