edge comp box

i am new to the bombing and i have an 02 3500 4x4 H. O. 6 speed. i have took the air box out and replaced it with a kn cone filter and i have made my exhaust straight i have also installed a pyrometer and boost gauge. i have purchased a edge comp box and was wondering if i would rip the stock clutch out by hooking the pump wire up. i can't stand not having it hooked up. i only pull a car trailer mostly ever once in a while i'll pull a load of cattle. thanks for any help

I had my comp on for 30K before it finally gave out at 110. 000mi. before the comp I have a VA box with 275's. I dont think it will slip a new clutch as long as you drive with that in mind. Dont slip the clutch any more than you have to and dont give it to much power until the clutch is full engaged and you should be ok. Dave
