Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EDGE COMP/DRAG COMP question

i'm going to advertize my drag comp for sale and need to know which years of truck it will work on.

my truck is an '01 auto. will the box work on 98. 5 thru 2002 ?

i had heard it would fit all years with the only issue being that the design of the map sensor plug on the '02 was a different shape which could be easily fixed with an adapter plug.

is that the case ??

I think the 01 comp will work on an 02 with an adapter, but I believe 98. 5 thru 00 had different map voltages???

I ran an 01 Drag Comp with no issues on 2 different trucks (99 and 00).

Of course the harness had to be different.

i've had the truck for sale as she sits(see profile) for $32k.

lots of interest but no bank would loan over retail value of $27,700.

i have decided to part out ALL the after market performance mods for 1/2 of their retail price. most stuff only has 500 miles on it (drag comp,twins,,mach 6's,,etc etc)

mach 6's were sold today.

my drag comp made 168rwhp on 5x5 verses off on my dually.



i better stop before someone cry's about advertizing in a post. :{ :{

Ahhh, I didnt know you had it for sale. Was wondering what you were going to use to fuel it with the mach 6's and twins :-laf

Sure is a bummer you are still needing to sell your truck. I'm interested in it, but, as the same goes for others, lack of sufficient $$$$$$. Good luck in getting it sold.
