sorry so long, but I need some advice
Here's the run down.
Monday I upgraded my edge comp for the drag version. (MAN WHAT A FEELING). On the old comp I could run on level 3 sublevel 5 without any smoke control problems, On the drag version on the same level smoke was very heavy. No problem here, power was way up. I began driving on level 1 sublevel 5, had about the same power as the previous comp had on 3.
Today, Friday , on the way home from work I was trying to adjust the sublevels to see where the "most power, least smoke" setting was. This is when it happened. All of the sudden my truck started doggin on acceleration. This happened on all settings. On the upper settings, 3, 4, and 5, at WOT it would dog for awhile and then kick in and go. I turned the box off and it runs better than level 1!!
Checked my codes and got 1693 and 1492. The 1493 is "Battery Temperature Sensor Voltage Too Low" I think. Can this possibly have anything to do with the way its running? It might just be a coincidence.
P. S. Is there anyone in the Houston area with a drag comp I could plug in to verify this to be the problem
Thanks,
Elmer
