"Power Level 1 on the Comp is the same as the EZ; on Power Levels 2-5 additional power is added via the wire tap onto the injection pump. If the pump wire is not attached with a Comp, Levels 2-5 are still operational, but the power gain is not any higher than Level 1. Under this scenario, however, power will come on much earlier in the throttle. "

OK, can someone please explain to one with a thick head. So the sublevels do not do anything in the if the injector wire is not hooked up, and level 2-5 cause earlier fueling? Someone please help me understand. SNOKING

While POWER levels 2-5 won't be able to give any more power, their "smoke levels" are still active. This means although 1-3 = 3-3 with no wire, 5-5 also = 1-5.

So if I program it 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4 and 5-5, I can then easily move from, 1 to 5 led's and effect the smoke level?

Comp

Just hook the wire up and get the :D :-laf then you'll have the full benifit of the comp. Your transmission should hold now that it's a DTT.

Well I think I will wait the year and a half until my 5/100000 engine warranty is done.

Snow... no disrespect, but with all the bombs you got on your truck you're gonna need David Copperfield to save your Cummins warranty anyway.

Tap the wire, get a CaTCHER, and enjoy life.

You could be right, the back seat disappeared or was never there to begin with!!!!! Maybe David could make one appear. I am at 8K in the last month already.

If your NOT tapping the wire, you can still set different sublevels, and you end up with

1x1 = 1x1

2x3 = 1x3

3x5 = 1x5

4x4 = 1x4

You will feel the difference, by doing this it adjusts when the extra fueling boost comes in and over rides some defueling on 4 and 5 as I recall. Sub level 5 is instant.

A noticeable differece in between 1x2 and 1 x5, as extra fuel is add at zero boost.

I really hope that your monitoring your fuel pressure. With a EZ and injectors it's a REAL BIG DEAL and with a comp becomes critical.
