edge comp makes 84 more hp @2000 rpm than a fms blue box on an eth

that's right while on the dyno the guys from bullydog put a a fms premium box on my truck for a comparison. peak the comp only made 12 hp more but @ 2000 look at the difference!!! now i know the comp has a timing module but's it's damn near half the price of the bluebox. the bluebox was cool don't get me wrong. it has lots of gadgets and buttons. these runs were made within minutes of each other. the blue box was set at 63% fueling and the comp on 5-5.

Just curious here, what did you have the smoke control, EGT defuel temp, timing box selector and street/drag race options set on? Not saying that the Comp box may not be better, but any of these options could decrease power output from the FMS box if not put in their "max" positions.

i did not mess with any of that. i just saw them selsect the 63% and that's all. none of th boost or egt probes were hooked up, but they said it would still work. it just wouldn't defuel.
