Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) edge comp/ no pump wire hookup

2002 eth. what gains should be expected when installing an edge comp without hooking up the pump wire. only mods, 4 inch exh and gauges. also how will the different power levels respond. thanks in advance for the info.

A comp without the pump wire works the same as an ez. The levels are meaningless.

Oo. Oo. Oo. I have the Edge Comp hooked up on my 2001 and and the wire is also hooked up, but I have what they call the Blue Chip cover, it is well worth the money for the cover.

I am very pl;eased with it.

My comp was my first mod. I left the pump wire unhooked for about three thousand miles. I thought my truck was a rocket with it, unfortunately you will get used to it and need more. Even now my truck feels sluggish , I would get the drag comp right away because you will probably end up wanting it.

Matt,Want more H/P?Loose that K&N and go to a BHAF or AFE. That K&N does not flow enough air.

Without the pump wire connected, levels 2-5 do nothing more than level 1. About 35-40hp/90ft-lbs peak gain.
