edge comp or DDUFM ??

which do you guys recommend and where is the best place to get it?



I am ready to upgrade and I'm not sure which one i want to go with, i know they're both made by edge but are slightly different.

all suggestions apprieated.

I have'nt ran both but the general consesus is that the DD UFM uses slightly less timing so it doesn't rattle so much. Not sure if rattle is a good word, someone else will clarify. I love my Drag UFM.

HOLY COW--the PE RATTLES MORE?!



Take your pick. You'll be all with either one. The main reason I have a DDUFM-race is because I found a used one--it got sold. I called Keith at DD and he told me of another one for sale. Ain't that just ?



I quizzed everybody and called DD as well as PE. With all the settings to compensate for weak drivelines and/or showerheads I think either one would do a dang good job.



The only "consensus" I could get was that MAYBE the DD box is a bit less smokey.

If you are going to get one get the DD version. It works better with larger injectors that you will end up with. The Edge version has more timing advance and makes the engine hammer (rattle). It gets worse with large injectors.



DD set the timing and fueling maps specifically for use with larger injectors.
