Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge Comp pump wire...Help!

Hey gang, I installed my Edge Comp this afternoon and I left the pump wire untapped because to be quite honest I am not 100% sure which wire it is. I see two seperate sleeves each containing two wires. One sleeve is black the other is kind of like speckled. I believe it is the top wire the straight black sleeve. Am I correct, the truck is a 2000. I am going to pick up a posi-tap this evening to finish the job tomorrow... Thanks in advance, James

on my 02, it is the top wire.

The wire you are looking for is covered in a black sheath and runs from the top corner of the pump to the center of the fuel injector lines. You need to tap the wire closest to the block. HERE is a link to the instructions on the EDGE sight with a fairly good picture.

TST has good instructions

I like TST's instructions, their pictures are better. Even though the instructions are for their PM3, not the competitors product, the wire tap is the same.
