Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EDGE Comp Question

I'm looking at the comp for the in cab-adjustablity, but can it be completly turned off(back to stock) in cab? I am looking to add Mach 1. 5's and either a EZ or Comp. Clutch will be down the road, so I'd like to be able reduce HP when I am not the one behind the wheel.

Yes, the comp can be turned completely off from in the cab. The unit will continue to act as a boost fooler with the power off, which you will need with an injector like the EDM 1. 5.

Just switch the power button off and it's a boost fooler only as stated. The only time my wife drives my truck is towing the horse trailer and she just switches the box off and goes. Makes me feel better about her using it. She's pretty good about watching the guages, but it's foolproof with the box off. You sure notice if she forgets to turn it back on when done. Jake

Go with the comp. I love the idea of being able to turn it off completely.
