Edge Comp woes..

Well the comp has been om truck for about 36 hours now. Dammage so far... ... 81 MPH in a 6 5 and no s#%t 3 miles later 72 in a 55! Showded the first ticket to the cop and he took pitty on me and let me off with a lecture



Just can't keep my foot out of it. And to think I still need to hookup the VP44 wire... ... . :

I had two a week apart once. Those tickets are way too expensive. I've learned to keep my foot out of it so much.

Learned from the Bike Drag days, that its too easy to get in trouble w/ the man.



Now its all about keeping the speed safe, just get to it quicker



These trucks can make stoplight - stoplight driving more fun you can use the torque, and work on getting spoolup times better.

comp trouble

sooooooo... ... ..... BFC, now that the pump wire is hooked up, any more trouble such as this? or did hooking the pump wire up slow it down??

Man you just must have lucked out. Mine is way better but still, not like that. Maybe I just got used to the box on the drive back to Nacogdoches from Kerrville after LSTDR Rally. Only onpend it up twice on that run.

What setting do you run it in, and by the way, I could have betted you said you hooked up that pump wire on another thread, did you disconnect it?

OK Lead Foot I'll warn you just once. If you are haveig trouble with a stock Comp Box you better NOT upgrade to a DDU box. You'll be BOMBing your bicycle befor you know it.

Not so far, got to try to keep my money for the DTT stuff, can't give it all to the man! Not to mention the hell I get from the boss Been rompin' on it pretty hard the last week.

look at the date this post was originaly posted, unhooked it? You nuts! Actually I'm probably going to solder it in place, just to make sure! I run it 2/2 most of the time. Made a few runs through all the settings but anything above 3/3 scares me, can't afford to send the innards of the transmission in the pan! Slipped it a time or two, know what I mean

Not to worry it's on the "to do" list, but all in time. That damn list is getting longer and longer too! Lets see, DTT complete package, DD3's, somekind of turbo and wife made me promise to put an air bulldog hood! Plus whatever will be out by the time I'm done with these... .....



It will never be over, NEVER :cool I've resigned myself to it.
