Has anyone heard any news or had a chance to test one of these? I don't think they are shipping until tomorrow, but i was wondering if anyone had a chance to do some beta testing. I believe there is a regular version and a race version. I think the race version has the DPF delete and manual regen. I would like to know if this is posibble with the standard version. I would like to order one today or tomorrow if its the right way to go. Truck is bone stock. Would like the CTS for the eight gauges at one time. Any info would be excellent. Can't seem to find anything on here when i searched the forums.

I am going to be getting an insight CTS for mine. I will post a full report as soon as I have some time on it.

I got mine tonight and set it up but it is supposed to show some downstream exhaust temps, pre DPF and post DPF, but I can't figure out how to get them. There is nothing in the menu, in spite of the manual saying that the 07-10 dodges can display this info.

I guess I will be calling tech support tomorrow to see if they can't help me.

Well, talked to Edge and they are writing a program to access the 3 downstream exhaust gas temps, and say that it should be available via the fusion program for download within 30 days. Don't have my EGT probe installed yet in the exhaust manifold, will be doing that after I get back from vacation. So far though it seems to work pretty well. The suction cup mount is pretty cool, but opted for the dash mount so that someone doesn't think its a GPS and bash my window out.

Heres a pic.

How is it for viewing? Good angle / access? Is having it on your dash annoying at night? Easy to install?

Thanks

That pod seems better than the suction cup mount, as it sits lower, and the suction cup sat above the CTS, making it more difficult (though not that bad) to see over. It was an easy install too.

Yes, the Dodge does not have a manifold sensor like the ford, it only has the pre-cat, pre-dpf and post dpf.

Just got the CTS. Got to get the truck off the road long enough to put it in though. About how long would you say it takes to install? I will be putting the pyro in too. I looks good on the dash. Hope it works better than my Pulse V2 i just put in my truck. Had it working less than 24 hours. Any help on install would be great. Edge does a good job with instructions but there's always some some little trick they don't tell you it seems.

It will take you longer to mount the pod with the little velcro brackets than it will to install the edge. It is super easy to install, literally just plug and turn on, then follow the instructions on the screen.

As for the pre turbo pyro probe, I am holding off installing that yet, as at first you are going to notice that you cannot monitor any downstream exhaust temps, and no boost. They are just getting ready to release a new software version with all of these PID's available. On the 6. 7's there have also been issues with it going into sleep mode after a certain amount of run time, and Edge has said that this is also a software problem that will be addressed by this new release. I want to wait to make sure that the new software release allows the monitoring of all of the things that I expected when I bought this before I drill and tap the manifold.

I have no doubt though that Edge is on top of this, as they have always been reputable to deal with in the past.

Well, here is what I can tell you.

I have been on the phone with Aaron, the beta test guy, and my neighbor and I were set up for the new firmware today.

He has an 08, mine is an 09. Anway, the first attempt at downloading by both of us netted no change.

Edge had to re-do something, and my buddy successfully downloaded new PID's for his, which is connected to his 08. I downloaded the firmware, and after 15 minutes of it doing its thing, I got it back on the truck and no change! I still have the generic PID's. I have emailed Aaron regarding this, and am hopefull that I will get some type of remedy tomorrow.

I am beginning to wonder if this is just a mistake on their side with the firmware getting targeted correctly, or that now the firmware they have doesn't work for the 09!

Arrrrgghhh!!

They've got it running now, and there are an additional 7 or 8 PID's. Aaron over at Edge has really been scrambling, and has been a pleasure to work with.

Here they are, from the best of my knowledge.

I think that's all of them.
