I have had my Edge insight CTS monitor (monitor only, stock program) for a few thousand miles, but the DPF status on the monitor never changes from "off". Every so often the 3 exhaust temps go to around 1100-1200 deg (typically around 500-700), but the monitor still reads DPF status "off". I would assume I am actually regen'ing, but the monitor is not showing it.
I have done two updates online on the monitor (the last one a few weeks ago), but that has not changed anything.
I just spoke with a tech at Edge (picked up phone promplty and was very nice) who said the monitor is only reading the signal from the truck and it sounds like the monitor is working fine.
The monitor is great in every other way and I am really happy with it, but could there be something wrong with the truck? I have had check engine lights come on and the monitor read those just fine and all other functions appear to work including the backup display... although I have a cheapy camera hooked up to it.
No current codes on the truck and it still has the stock program... so yes, I still have the DPF on the truck (so far).
Any thoughts?
Oh, which exhaust temp is nearest to the engine the Nox, Doc, or the Dpf... probably not the DPF, but I am really not sure.
Thanks
