Competition edge drag comp?

will an edge drag comp for an 02 work on a 99? just box for box harness stays in truck(s). Whats the diff?

It will not work. Different programming If I remember correctly. The 01-02 will interchange with a harness adapter. 98. 5-00 are the same but not interchangable to 01-02.

thanks BILLVO ,trying to figure a problem with mine. thought a swap would be easy to say a bad box. talking to edge "service" is a joke, 1/2 hour on hold no answer.
