Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EDGE EZ and Snow Plowing

Good Morning everyone. I have an 02 with and EDGE EZ installed and I am thinking about installing a snow plow for this winter. Is there any danger to this? I love the extra power I get from the Edge while towing, but I am just wondering if there is anything that I should do if I get the snow plow installed? Will the edge box damage my engine while I am plowing?

We've been plowing with the Edge EZ on two of our trucks a 2000 & 2002. No problems at all. If you feel like you have to much power(breaking traction in the snow), you can always set box to a lower setting. What plow did you have in mind?

We run Fisher plows for our city. They've taken a good amount of abuse over the years and are holding up great. The 2002 runs the X-blade with the stainless steel moldboard.
