Edge EZ function

could someone please educate me. what exactly does the Edge EZ do? Does it merelyalter(advance) the timing? or does it actually change the fueling on the inj pump also? If all it does is advance timing, then what do yu do to add fuel at specific intervals? thanks.

Changes timeing plus alters data maps for the injection pump thus adding more fuel.
