Guys... need to pick some brains. Have had the Edge EZ Box almost 6 months now. Recently the "check Engine" has started to appear with code P2509. Of course the light goes away after the third start. Local dealer, a close friend of the family says the light / code is being caused by my box.

Anyone else had this happen. I just drove to Reno Nevada from Fresno (not towing) and the light came on after 380 miles! Just doesn't make sense!

Could use a little assistance here please... and thanx.

I would check the connections. They may have worked loose a little causing intermittent contact or gotten a little dirt/grime in them.

Did you come up for HAN?

check the wires were they go into the plugs I know for a fact that the rubber grommets inside the plugs where the wires pass through can get loose and cause alot of problems. Its mainly the older boxes, I think that Edge knows about this. I checked my dads truck with the engine running and wiggling the plug wires, If thats the culpritt you will know pretty quick.

You bet I attended HAN... . what a hoot. Anyway thanks for the suggestion about checking /cleaning connections. Am heading to Vegas :)... maybe the light will stay off.

Code P2509... ECM / PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent... again the local dealer claims this is caused b the EZ Box. Having trouble putting the two together, especially since this code appears whenever it wants. . doesn't matter is I am towing or empty. Thanks for the help all.

Edge EZ Problem almost solved

Guys... . called the EDGE EZ Customer service. Told them of my problem setting a code... gentleman I spoke to didn't even hesitate, told me to return the box to them and he would send out a replacement. Just that simple!!!!

If you never ask the question... you will never get an answer. Thanks to all again for the assistance. :p
