Edge EZ removal question

How do I do it??



I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I bought my truck used with the EZ already installed. I went by the dealer to get a reflash on the ECM, and they said that they could download it, but it would not update due to the EZ being there. So, I need to remove it so they can do the reflash. Thanks.

Go to Edge EZ installation instructions and work backwards.

I don't have the old plug for the data link. Is it ok to run it down to the dealer with the data link open?

No data link plug

I believe the plug is to reduce contact corrosion only, and does not have any loopback or termination function. You should be OK taking it to the dealer without the plug.
