I am leaning at going with the Edge plug in Hp box,the 40-75 hp model for my 2004,I am not into racing or frying the tires off, just a good towing HP box. If you have this model, how do you like it?How long have you had it installed on your truck?Any mileage gains?Any codes or such useing this edge box? Thanks for any info. coobie :)

I have had an Edge EZ on my truck for over a year now, have @ 25,000 miles with one on. I love it! No milage gain but no loss either. About 90 hp gain on level 4 (they only advertise three levels) without supplied boost elbow and 190 ft pounds of torque increase. No codes, no problems

Do you have an 04 or an 04. 5? (600?)

My dad's truck is a 04. 5 auto, I put an ez on about 3 weeks ago, it consistantly picked up a hand calculated 3mpg increase in all types of driving. Truck went on the dyno this weekend, made 374hp 670 something torque, only other mod is an AFE intake.

GRUNT... . Those are some good numbers for an Edge Ez. I think that they only advertise 3 power levels on the 04. 5 CTDs... but the 03's and 04's have 4 power levels and one extra hidden power level. So on your truck you have another level to go up if your truck is what's in your sig. :D

I have an EZ set on level 4 and never change it. I pull a 9000 lb 5th wheel with no problems at all. I have not seen any codes. This is not a race box, but you mentioned you want something to use while towing. As a side note, my EGT have only hit 1200 degrees 0ne time and that was puling the trailer across the WV Turnpike. I would really recomend this box for moderate power increases. By the way, I pulled all summer with stock transmission (47RE) with no problems and just last week had a Dunrite valvebody installed. I have not pulled with the new valvebody yet.
