I don't know if this has been talked about in another thread or what. . but when I bought my Edge Ez I asked the guy at the place I bought it what level 6 was and he said the first two set of prongs on the right side ::: XX: . so I put it on that and the box didn't work. So I took it back and he replaced it and put it on level 6 again. . still didn't work. . So I called the guys over at Edge and asked him what deal was? He said the newer boxes didn't have the 6th level but if you put one connector on the 1st set of prongs on the right side ::: X:: it's the same as the older boxes that have the 6th level. So basically the newer ones have 5 levels ranging from 40 - 80 hp. It smokes a lot better on this 5th level:D :D

Clayton how is the 48RE liking your new found power?

I'm leaning toward the slippery slope of the dark side! Help!:D

It's holding up great:D I love the power but want more... I've been sucked into the dark side and I like it. I haven't had my 48RE slip yet. I NEED MORE POWER:)

Hey Joe, just curious why you don't recommend going over level 4? Is it because of the auto transmission or because of how agressive the box is on that level?

How many people out there are running it over level 4? Have you had any problems with it on the higher levels?

I have one of the first ones out ran it on level 5 and 6 for some time but settled on level 3. I've since removed it completely and may sell it. I do miss the extra power towing in the wind and hills. My friend had a warranty issue when they guessed he had a box so, at the moment, I don't feel like risking it until it's out of warranty.

What kind of warranty issues did he have with it?

Not with the box but the truck. He threw a rod with 40k miles and they said since it had a power box they weren't going to pay for it under warranty.
