Hey Guys, first post since joining. Just back from the Middle East and looking forward to giving my truck more power. It went downhill after installing 315's like I knew it would. Any ideas which Box would be best, I've read all the posts and still haven't decided. Any info would help. 2003 CTD SO 48 2500 4x4

First, Thank You for your service. It is profoundly humbling to me that so many like yourself are willing to put themselves into harms way to defend freedom and protect our nation. And, at the same time I would like to thank all of you who are serving or have served. God Bless.

I have noticed a small loss of power, also, when I put the 295's on. I am going to go with the EZ and a set of injectors. But, it depends on how wild you want to go.

Well thank you, it's been my pleasure to serve our country. I think I have decided for now to hold off on the Edge and have ordered a AFE Magna Force filter system. Going to get a Banks Monster exhaust next week probaly. Want to have as much fun with my truck before possibly having to go back to the Land of Much Oil!!

Welcome back. I was over there in the region last year.

I would definetly recommend the EZ (or TTPM), it will liven up your truck nicely. If I read Joe Donnelly and some of the TDR articles right without putting big fuel to your CTD going to the 4" exhaust will not give you much if any bang for your buck (correct me guys if I didn't digest those articles/tests right). You may want to reconsider spending bucks on that and put your money into some "practical" mods like Mag-hytec pans and such.

A nice thing about going the EZ route is you can have everything back to stock in about 10 minutes if you need to.

EZ

Hey guys, new to TDR too. I just installed my EZ with waste gate elbow last week. Iv'e been turning up CATs for the local guys for a couple of years, now it's my turn to have a little fun. Love it, the low end torque is awesome. Just with the EZ I can already give the rice grinders(I can say that, I have one) a run for there money. Not too bad for a near 7000lb truck. Fuel mileage hasn't suffered, I can't wait to tow with it, too bad it's been snowing.

On a side note, I ran my truck on our dyno when it was new, I was shocked on how high the exh back PSI was. 63"H2O at 3000RPM. Max spec for a 16L CAT is 40"H2O at rated HP. After I changed the exh to 4" and no muffler I rechecked and found back PSI dropped to 12" at 3000RPM, pyro dropped 250F and I gained 20 HP to the ground. Now I need to make another run with EZ installed ;) .
