Ok I have had my truck now for about 6 months. I have 2500 miles on it and have run the Edge juice/att combo since the first week of having it. I have just sent it off to get the Hot tune and I was wondering how it will work on my truck. I have a 6 speed with straight 4" exhaust and AFE stage 2 on it. I dynoed it the end of Dec and I got 422/770. That was level 5 and winter fuel. It has never slipped the clutch yet and I am running 315 so I was kind of worried how much this truck will take. Sorry first post.

I think your at the upper limits of what the stock clutch has to offer. This last tweek and some hammer time (not MC) will probably have you on the phone to South Bend Clutch.

Don't forget the stock turbo also is way past it's design limits.

That seems like some really good power for a Juice/Attitude, I've got a similar set up with an auto, a FASS, and an EZ stacked and only hit 436 with that set up

dosn't the hot ver add 180 in you top setting.

That is correct. The way they explained it to me when I sent mine in is that they bump the bottom setting off the box and move everything down one so they have that 5th slot to put the 180hp program in. I daily drive on setting 2 on mine because I find that to be the best mix of road manners, fuel economy, and go fast. Of course I can bump it up when I want but, rarely do.

"The standard program levels are 25, 40,60,80, and 100hp. This is exactly what it layed down on the dyno.

The Hot flash is 40, 60, 80, 100, and 150 hp. This is straight from Edge's programmer regardless of all the incorrect info in the threads. "

Now this is for sure on the 03-04, that use preasure.

Can't tell you for sure on the 04. 5+ since I didn't ask.

ECappleman, he has an almost new truck. The Hot Juice for the 2005 is rated at 180hp. . Yes, first hand experience. I don't know what it actually makes on the dyno. .

For what it is worth, I'm on stock clutch and stock turbo and pulled 495/1006 with just the Hot Juice in the fall. I haven't made any mods to the truck since then and I also don't drive around with turned all the way up but, I haven't had any problems to date.

Here is the thread I was talking about it in:

Ok, yes, for sure my clutch is slipping, or mine really didn't get the hot flash. :) I dynoed at what the dude started the thread at, 420hp (non hot juice) :)

I have a stock clutch, been with the juice for 20,000 miles. I drive on 5 all the time.

The folks at edge said that 460 with a DTT trann + FASS is what they turned that hot on. so a clutch with hot at almost 500 sounds feeseable.

With HOT Juice/Attitude and EZ stacked, FASS, SPS66 and TC/Trans upgrades I dyno'd 479rwhp. That was 200rwhp over completely stock dyno number.

Camp what gear did you pull in? Also do you have the NV5600 or the G56 6 speed? Them are very good numbers.

My truck has the NV5600 and I ran the test in 6th gear. I think I am getting really lucky that my clutch is holding because my buddy's slipped right after me and he is not putting down as much power.
