Purchased the Insight unit in July and it performed flawlessly until yesterday. Really nice to know when that Regen is working so while hunting I won't start a nice fire in a stubble field.

Email notification came that a new 3. 0 version is ready for that unit. I plugged it up and downloaded. Unit lost all PIDS for turbo, Nox, Regen, etc. Called EDGE and spent 2 hours on the phone (90 minutes on wait). They reset me to old software version prior to 3. 0, unit works great. They advised to download 3. 0 again and unit has lost PIDS again. The new software has only been out for 3 days, so please wait until Edge figures this one out. I have to call them back tomorrow and troubleshoot. I will update.

They claim that my call is only problem since new software release? Anyone else have this issue?? :confused:

Quick update on the new 3. 0 software version for the Edge Insight. I just got off the phone with there tech support. They have gotten me back to version prior to 3. 0 and unit works perfect. The have advised WAIT FOR A FEW WEEKS until we have all the bugs worked out to install this new 3. 0 software.
 
For all you non power adders out there, I just updated to the 3. 0 software on my CS monitor (gauges only, no power boost) on my 2011. 5 H. O. CTD and it works fine.

I upgraded my CTS to 3. 0 and lost alot of PIDs also. Talked to Edge and they reset me back to the previous version with no problem. They said they will call in a week or so with a solution to my problem.
 
Same problem here. I lost 3 of the 5 parameters I monitor on my Insight CTS, including transmission Temp, Regen Status, and Gear w/TCL! Talked to Bill at Edge this morning and he was going to call me back in "a couple of hours" (that was 5 hours ago). I'll call him back tomorrow morning and ask him to reset me back to the previous version (didn't know that they could do that). The only reason I downloaded the new S/W was to see what the "Mileage Coach" did (AND IT'S NOT EVEN SHOWING UP ON THE MENU)!

Thinking enough time had passed for Edge to work out the bugs, I installed the update again last night. I didn't lose any PIDs this time, but the Mileage Coach doesn't work. I set it up to show both the average and instantaneous mileages. When I'm driving, it shows 99/50. When stopped, it shows 0/50. I called Edge and was told that this problem was fixed, but evidently only in the Juice and Attitude programs. I am supposed to reinstall the update this evening. We'll see if it works.
