Yes, I am. I really want to be able to say that it is a great all around product, they have good customer support, but right now there are some software issues. I still think its a good product, but they really need to fix the following parameters:

Boost (not reading accurately, the values read too low and don't reflect engine loading all that well)

EGT (works well but the computer interface software doesn't like it at the moment so a person has to do an annoying work around when programming it in to the insight module)

Fuel Flow and

Fuel Economy (they for whatever reason removed these two fuel parameters which ticks me off because they were working great and then the last software update I did had these things removed so now I can't use them #@$%! )

All in all I'd say yes it is a good product, but Edge needs to hurry up and get back on the ball here and get these glaring glitches dealt with, especially when the boost and fuel parameters used to work fine until the last software update. I love its ability to read and reset codes, and watch what's happening with my EGR, Diesel Regen and Catalyst system. Also, the reading values for the numbers update quickly so you get real time numbers. I think you can adjust how often it takes a reading, mine is set up so it is very often, maybe twice or so per second, so its not so fast as to be annoying but there is not enough lag to be a pain either.

Coalsmoke, it you contact Edge's Tech. Support with you unit plugged into the computer, they will roll back the update to previous one that supports the fuel issues that you are talking about. They did it for me just yesterday.

I did that but unfortunately that edition contained glitches in it that were causing random alerts to pop up on my Insight when driving. So, I had to go back to the new version that had the glitch issues fixed. I don't see what is so stinkin difficult about them just giving us our fuel flow parameters back, they worked great before, why'd they have to go and mess with it.

I am not a fan of digital gages, too hard to read at a glance. Give me a analog gage any day and you learn what is normal with just a glance. Plus with a gage it is a stand alone reading instead of reading what a ECM is seeing.

I got one along with their dash pod.

I like the way it looks and works. If it only read the hours off the ecm it would be great.

I too think some of the readings are not so accurate. I agree with Coalsmoke that Edge really needs to fix the glitches in the updates.
