Edge Insight Issues?

I bought a CS Insight to monitor engine activity. I can't get trans temp on the PID list. The engineers are supposed to be writing one. Anyone else have an issue?

My trans temp is working fine in the center bar of the cs. with the EGT and Boost on the left and right side. I can't get the regen. light to light-up without an alarm.

I don't get it. I hope they can figure it out. I was thinking of monitoring the same parameters. Why is it important to monitor boost?

I use it to monitor for possible problems. On my '01 I had high EGT's and low boost so I started looking for a boost leak and found one on the tube next to the pass. fender. A little bailing wire and Duck tape and was back on the road.

If memory serves me correct, with the insight, you have to buy the daisy chain sensor kit & set-up the trans temp PID. I don't think the PCM or ECM monitors the trans temp, which is why the JUICE w/ Attitude CS or CTS come with a sensor wired in.
